SSC Stenographer Vacancy Notification Released for 12th Pass
Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for Stenographer Recruitment. 12th pass candidates can apply for this. Online applications have been invited from the candidates for this recruitment. Both men and women can apply for SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Recruitment. Application forms for this recruitment have started from 26th July and the last date has been kept as 17th August.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment Application Fee
In this recruitment, the application fee for General, OBC and EWS category has been kept at Rs 100, while the application for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe has been kept free. Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates for this recruitment should be 18 years, while the maximum age limit for Group C is 30 years and the maximum age limit for Group D is 27 years. In this, the age will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2024. In this, reserved categories have been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.

For this recruitment, the candidate should have passed 12th class from a recognized board.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment Selection Process
For this recruitment, candidates will be selected on the basis of online written test, stenography skill test, document verification and medical exam.
In the CBT exam, 50 questions of general intelligence and reasoning, 50 questions of general awareness, 100 questions of English language and comprehension will be asked, in this each question will be of one mark and negative marking has been kept of 0.25 marks, candidates will get 2 hours for this paper.
After qualifying the written test, the candidates will be called for the stenography skill test. Candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi. The speed should be 100 words per minute for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 words per minute for Grade D. Detailed information of which can be seen in the official notification.
