Wales’ Darcey Harry Secures Maiden LET Victory with Dominant Three-Shot Win at Hulencourt

June 16, 2025 – Welsh rookie Darcey Harry celebrated her 22nd birthday in style, clinching her first Ladies European Tour (LET) title with a commanding three-shot victory at the Hulencourt Women’s Open in Vieux-Genappe, Belgium, on June 15. Harry’s final-round 4-under-par 68, highlighted by an eagle on the 13th and five birdies, brought her to 13-under 275 for the tournament, outpacing France’s Nastasia Nadaud, who finished at 10-under with a closing 67. New Zealand’s Amelia Garvey took third at 8-under.

Harry, who started the final round tied for second, overcame an early bogey with a fiery performance from the fifth hole, including three birdies and an eagle, as reported by Sky Sports. Her victory at Hulencourt Golf Course, the first LET event in Belgium since 2023, earned her a spot in the AIG Women’s Open at her home course, Royal Porthcawl. “I don’t even know what to say right now,” Harry said, per BBC Sport, reflecting on the milestone. Posts on X captured the excitement, with @LETgolf noting her near-hole-in-one and @PINGTourEurope listing her winning gear, including a G440 MAX driver and i230 irons.

India’s Avani Prashanth, who led after round three, faltered with a 3-over 75, finishing tied for fifth at 7-under, her career-best LET result. Diksha Dagar placed 23rd at 2-under. The €300,000 event saw strong performances from LET Order of Merit leaders like England’s Mimi Rhodes and Cara Gainer. The LET now heads to the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open at Royal Beroun Golf Club, starting Friday.
