Dhampur Sugar Mills stock jumps 3% after completing expansio

Dhampur Sugar Mills has accomplished the enlargement of distillery capability at Asmoli unit in Uttar Pradesh from 150 KLPD to 250 KLPD. With this enlargement, the corporate’s distillation capability has now reached 500 KLPD.The corporate was expanded to extend ethanol manufacturing, with the Authorities of India setting higher costs for ethanol produced from C&B heavy molasses, syrup and sugarcane juice. As well as, producing ethanol from B heavy molasses / syrup / can juice not solely ensures larger ethanol value but in addition reduces the stock of sugar by sacrificing sugar in B heavy / syrup / can juice.

As well as, the corporate is ready to produce the required feedstock corresponding to molasses (B heavy and C heavy) / syrup / sugarcane juice for the manufacturing of ethanol with expanded capability.

For the enlargement, the corporate had invested Rs 130 crore.
