Dr. Gaddis was once born Jan. 12, 1950, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Edgar Sibley and Edith Joy Stothart Gaddis, and affectionately nicknamed “Bob” after his grandfather. He is preceded in dying by way of his parents-in-law; uncle, Will Stothart; and aunt, Alexa Boyette.
