High blood pressure can be controlled by controlling obesity, exercising regularly, sleeping deeply, staying stress-free, and taking proper diet.

Excessive alcohol, use of smoking and consuming drugs are likely to cause high blood pressure, so they should not be used. If you are diabetic, then control sugar. One should avoid stress and make a habit of being happy. Deep sleep should be taken.

Food is very important to avoid high blood pressure, it can be avoided if proper food is taken. The amount of salt in the food should be less. High blood pressure levels are good by taking the appropriate amount of potassium. Apart from this, fruits such as bananas, oranges, pears, tomatoes, dried peas, almonds and potatoes must be included in the diet because they are high in potassium. Eat small amounts of greasy or fat food.

Every person after the age of 30 must check their blood pressure at least once a year. People who have a history of blood pressure in their family should be screened every year after the age of 20 years.
