The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi had on July 20 announced the results of the Class 10 and 12 board exams, however, the board is not likely to announce the results tomorrow. Now, the students will have to wait a bit longer, as the Jharkhand board is preparing to announce its result in the last week of July.
According to sources, the Jharkhand Board is likely to announce the results of July 10 and 27 by July 30. Once announced, the results will also be available on the official websites, JKKharkhand.gov.in, Jacquard. nic.in, jharresults.nic.in, jack.zharkhand.gov.in, and News18.com.
This year, there are many firsts for the Jharkhand board. The first result will be announced based on an internal evaluation. The other first JAC will not announce the merit list, nor will it announce the list of toppers. The JAC will only publish data of students who progressed to the next class and who failed. The results will be classified into first, second and third sections.
Class 10 students will be assessed on the basis of their performance in 9th class finals while class 12 students will be assessed on the basis of their marks obtained in class 11. Out of the total marks, 80 per cent will be given to weightage theory and 20 per cent will be given to practicals. Subjects not included in the experimental examinations will be assessed using internal assessment marks.
Last year, 75.01 per cent students took the exam. Which was an increase of 70.81% in 2019 and 59.56% of class 10. In JAC Class 12, the pass percentage for Arts students was highest at 82.07 per cent while the pass percentage for Commerce was 77.37 per cent, and for Science students was 59.72 per cent.
