Knicks, Thunder Agree to First Trade of 2022 NBA Draft

The first business of the 2022 NBA draft happened when Ousmane Dieng used to be decided on No. 11 total in the beginning by way of the Knicks. However, the Thunder traded with New York to procure the French participant, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

While the business reportedly includes multiple first-round picks heading to New York, Oklahoma City held directly to the No. 12 select, settling on Jalen Williams out of Santa Clara University.

Through 12 choices, the Thunder have already taken 3 avid gamers—Chet Holmgren out of Gonzaga at No. 2, Dieng and Williams.
