LAPD Honors 238 Officers Killed In The Line Of Duty

The Los Angeles Police Division on Wednesday honored 238 officers who died within the line of obligation, together with a particular tribute to those that died of problems from COVID-19.

The ceremony included conventional police honors: the development of a “lacking man” helicopter flyover, a riderless horse, a faucet enjoying a single bugler, and an “finish of the clock broadcast.” Households positioned a tall stem rose close to their beloved one’s title plate on the newly renovated memorial wall.

Chief Michel Moore was to announce the inclusion of 15 officers killed in 1918–19 because of the Spanish flu.

A riderless horse is led at a memorial ceremony to honor the 238 LA law enforcement officials killed within the line of obligation through the years, held at LAPD Headquarters on Wednesday.
