By ALM Media, LLC on behalf of LexisNexis
New York, NY – Effective September 18, 2025
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by or associated with any third-party platforms or brands mentioned herein. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. By participating, you agree to these Official Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). ALM Media, LLC (“ALM” or “Sponsor”), in partnership with LexisNexis, reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time without notice.
1. THE SWEEPSTAKES
ALM, in collaboration with LexisNexis, is conducting the LexisNexis Small Law 2025 Drafting Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes aims to gather insights from small law firm professionals on drafting practices in 2025. Participants who complete the survey will be entered for a chance to win prizes. The following terms apply to your participation.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal professionals who are: (a) at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry; (b) residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, or other U.S. territories where not prohibited by law; (c) currently employed at a small law firm (defined as firms with 10 or fewer attorneys); and (d) not employees, officers, directors, or immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, or grandparent) of ALM, LexisNexis, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, or any other entity involved in the Sweepstakes.
The Sweepstakes is void and/or participants ineligible where prohibited or restricted by law. ALM, in its sole discretion, shall determine eligibility. Disqualification may occur for any reason, including but not limited to tampering with the entry process or violating these Terms. Multiple entries from the same individual or email address will result in disqualification.
3. HOW TO ENTER
The Sweepstakes begins on October 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET (the “Entry Period”). To enter:
- Visit the official Sweepstakes website at [www.lexisnexis.com/smalllaw2025survey] (or such other URL designated by Sponsor).
- Complete the online LexisNexis Small Law 2025 Drafting Survey in full. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes and covers topics such as drafting tools, AI usage in legal documents, common challenges in small firms, and preferences for 2025 updates.
- Upon submission, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Entries must be submitted during the Entry Period. All entries must be manually key-stroked; automated, scripted, or programmed entries are prohibited. Incomplete or inaccurate survey responses may disqualify an entry. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address/firm during the Entry Period. Any attempt to submit more than one entry will void all entries from that participant.
In the event of a dispute over ownership of an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used for submission. The “Authorized Account Holder” is the natural person assigned the email by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning emails.
4. PRIZES
There will be a total of fifty (50) prizes available (the “Prizes”). Each winner will receive one (1) Amazon® e-gift card valued at US$25.00 (ARV: $25.00 USD). The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all Prizes is $1,250.00 USD.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and not redeemable for cash. No substitutions except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. All federal, state, and local taxes on Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued at $600 or more.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Estimated number of entries: 1,000.
5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about November 5, 2025, from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by ALM or its designee. Decisions are final and binding in all respects.
Potential winners will be notified via email at the address provided during survey submission within five (5) business days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, declines the prize, or fails to respond within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor is not responsible for undelivered, lost, or bounced email notifications.
To claim a Prize, potential winners must provide proof of eligibility, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted by law), and any other required documents within the specified time. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the prize. Prizes will be emailed within three (3) weeks of verification.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By entering, participants release and hold harmless ALM, LexisNexis, their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability arising from or related to the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: (a) any claims of personal injury, death, or property damage; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) technical errors; (d) printing, typographical, or other errors; or (e) any other losses or damages of any kind resulting from participation or prize acceptance.

Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute any fraudulent activity to the fullest extent of the law.
