New Haven shooting leaves 19-year-old injured


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A 19-year-old West Haven guy used to be shot Friday afternoon on Dixwell Avenue, New Haven Police say.

Police spoke back to a ShotSpotter activation on Dixwell Avenue within the space of Henry Street and Munson Street. They situated and handled a person who were struck by way of gunfire, struggling non life-threatening accidents. The guy used to be transported to Yale New Haven Hospital.

The Bureau of Identification spoke back and picked up ballistic proof.  Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are main the investigation.
