In a swift intelligence-led operation, the Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 53-year-old woman named Maria and her 28-year-old son Adewale on suspicion of conspiring to use a 10-year-old boy for a money ritual. The incident unfolded in Ile-Oluji, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area, with police rescuing the child on December 27, 2025, and announcing the arrests on January 3, 2026.
Acting on a tip-off from a concerned citizen, operatives from the SWAT Tactical Team raided the suspects’ location.
