Turkey: Protests had been held to mark the Worldwide Day for the Elimination of Violence towards Ladies.

Protesters chanted slogans and held banners demanding instant motion towards gender-based violence in Turkey.

“We aren’t silent, we’re not afraid, we don’t obey,” shouted the protesters, who rushed to the police barricades.

In early July, Turkey withdrew from a world treaty to fight violence towards ladies, often known as the Istanbul Conference, and was negotiated in 2011 in Turkey’s largest metropolis, which was strongly criticized by its Western allies.

Saying the withdrawal in March, Erdogan stated Turkey would use native legal guidelines to guard ladies’s rights.
