Hey folks, if you’re into two-wheelers, Hero MotoCorp just dropped some solid numbers for September 2025 that show the company’s riding high. They moved 6,87,220 units last month, that’s about a 7.9% jump from the 6,37,050 they sold in September 2024. Compared to August, it’s even better – up 24% from 5,53,727 units. Pretty much every part of the business is humming along nicely.

They’re the real stars, shooting up 54% to 61,003 units from 39,521 last year. On the home front, domestic sales hit 6,47,582 – up 5% – while exports more than doubled to 39,638 units, a whopping 95% growth. Month-over-month, everything’s looking good too: bikes up 25%, scooters 17%, domestic 25%, and exports 15%.
Zooming out to the full second quarter of fiscal 2026 (July through September), Hero clocked 16,90,702 units, an 11% rise from 15,19,684 the year before. Hero also notched 3,23,230 VAHAN registrations in September, a healthy 19% year-over-year bump. And get this – they just crossed 125 million total production units, the first Indian two-wheeler maker to hit that mark. Strong shipments helped Q2 volumes grow 11%, thanks to fresh products and steady demand.
The festive season’s kicking things into gear, with GST perks making bikes more wallet-friendly. Showroom traffic has doubled, especially for commuters. Over in electrics, VIDA’s on fire: 12,736 registrations last month, market share from 4.7% to 12.2%. Their new VX2 e-scooter is selling out in spots.
Exports hit a Q2 high, fueled by models like the Hunk 125R and 160. September alone was up 95%. With 12 new or updated bikes this year and more stores, Hero’s set to keep the momentum going through the holidays.
