Austin, TX – July 26, 2025 – iA Financial Group, along with its U.S. subsidiaries iA American Warranty Group, American Amicable, and Vericity, has pledged $75,000 to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to support relief and recovery efforts following devastating flash flooding in Central Texas. The donation, announced on July 21, 2025, aims to address immediate needs such as shelter, food, and basic supplies, while also supporting long-term recovery and resilience planning for affected communities, particularly in Kerr County and surrounding areas.
The flooding, triggered by heavy rainfall that caused the Guadalupe River to surge over 26 feet in 45 minutes, has resulted in significant loss of life and property damage. Local authorities declared states of emergency, with rescue operations ongoing to locate missing individuals, including nearly a dozen girls and a counselor from Camp Mystic. The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a key recipient of the donation, is working with local partners to distribute funds based on urgent community needs.
