Adam Lambert Sells Hollywood Hills Home at a Loss for $6.2 Million

Los Angeles, CA – July 29, 2025 – Musician and Broadway performer Adam Lambert has sold his Hollywood Hills residence for $6.2 million, incurring a loss from the $6.5 million he paid in 2018. The modern estate, listed in May for $7.375 million, was sold on July 21, 2025, after approximately two and a half months on the market, according to property records. The sale, brokered by Greg Holcomb of Carolwood Estates for the seller and Dennis DeWalt and Brandon Meneses of The Beverly Hills Estates for the buyer, reflects a $300,000 loss for Lambert, not accounting for renovations or fees.

The 5,028-square-foot home, originally built in 1952 and extensively renovated during Lambert “

American Idol” runner-up and Queen frontman transformed the spec house into a glam-rock haven with the help of contractor Justin Krzyston of Stonehurst Construction. Notable upgrades include a dramatic Silver Wave marble kitchen island, a cobalt glass orb chandelier, and a primary suite with snakeskin-embossed leather walls, a floating fireplace, and a spa-like bathroom with a black soaking tub and glass-walled shower offering city views. The residence features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a private gym (potentially a fifth bedroom), and resort-style amenities like an L-shaped infinity pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, and firepit, all set on a quarter-acre lot with sweeping Los Angeles vistas.

“It’s time for a new chapter,” Holcomb said, noting Lambert’s affection for the home but his shift toward East Coast ventures, including a recent Broadway role in Cabaret and an upcoming performance as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. Lambert has been spotted house hunting in New York City, touring a $10.5 million Tribeca duplex.

This sale follows Lambert’s earlier transaction in 2020, when he sold another Hollywood Hills home for $2.92 million, also at a loss from the $2.995 million purchase price in 2014. That three-bedroom property, listed initially for $3.995 million, featured a sleek, contemporary design with a pool and city views.
