Police investigating Oasis fan death at Wembley Stadium concert

The Metropolitan Police are investigating the death of a man in his 40s who fell from the upper tier of Wembley Stadium during an Oasis concert on August 2, 2025, around 10:19 PM. Despite efforts by police, venue medics, and the London Ambulance Service, the man was pronounced dead at the scene with injuries consistent with a fall. The police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with mobile phone footage to contact them at 101, quoting reference 7985/02AUG, as the busy stadium likely had multiple witnesses. The investigation will be passed to the Health and Safety Executive in the coming days. Oasis expressed being “shocked and saddened” by the tragedy, extending condolences to the man’s family and friends. Wembley Stadium confirmed the incident and stated that the concert on August 3 would proceed as planned, with the man’s family supported by specially trained police officers.
