EssilorLuxottica reported that revenue from Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses more than tripled year-over-year in the first half of 2025, contributing to the company’s overall sales of €14.02 billion (US$16.25 billion), a 7.3% increase from the previous year. The success is attributed to the glasses’ AI-driven features, stylish design, and the strong partnership between Meta and EssilorLuxottica, which began in 2019. The company also plans to expand production to 10 million units annually by the end of 2026 and introduce new branded versions, such as Oakley and Prada.
