We’ve got a major update that’s got the entire music world talking right now.
Meghan Trainor has officially canceled her entire ‘Get In Girl’ 2026 tour – and it’s coming with less than two months’ notice.
On Thursday, April 16, the 32-year-old singer dropped the bombshell straight to her fans via Instagram Stories. Here’s exactly what she said:
“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘Get in Girl’ tour… Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now.”
Trainor went on to say she knows it’s a disappointment and apologized to fans, but insisted it’s “the right decision for my family and me right now.” She promised she’ll be back soon and can’t wait for everyone to hear the new record she’s “so proud of.”

For context: Meghan and husband Daryl Sabara (yes, the Spy Kids star) welcomed their third child – a baby girl named Mikey Moon – via gestational carrier back in January. They’re now a family of five with two young boys already at home. She’s been super open about how overwhelming the last year has been.
But here’s where things get spicy…
A lot of people online aren’t buying the “family first” explanation 100%. Fans and social media are floating a different theory: ticket sales simply didn’t meet expectations. Touring is insanely expensive, and playing to half-empty arenas is a nightmare no artist wants. (Remember, this tour was announced months ago – plenty of time to build hype.)
On top of that, Meghan has been catching heat lately for her dramatic weight-loss journey using GLP-1 medication. She even changed the lyrics to her massive hit “All About That Bass” to match her new look – and that move did NOT go down well with everyone.

Whether it’s truly about protecting her growing family or avoiding a tour flop, one thing’s clear: this is a huge last-minute shake-up for fans who were counting on those shows.
What do YOU think? Is Meghan putting her family first like she says… or is this a smart (and quiet) way to pull the plug on low sales? Have you been following her weight-loss journey and the lyric changes? Drop your honest thoughts in the comments – keep it respectful, but let’s talk!
