Does it measure up to the cooling power of an air conditioner?

It actually cools through water, so it can’t compete with an air conditioner, but it’s cooler than a regular fan and more energy-efficient than an air conditioner.

Is it prohibited to add water to the top tank?

Yes, because filling the top tank can cause excessive water accumulation, accelerating the downward flow rate. This may lead to water overflowing from the sides, resulting in leaks. We recommend adding water to the bottom tank instead.

Without ice and water, does this portable air conditioner just blow regular fan-like air with no cooling?

Our portable air conditioners cools by circulating ice and water. Due to its size, it might not cool large spaces like a traditional AC. But it’s suitable for smaller areas or as a refreshing breeze on hot days, just like a fan !

If the water tank is dirty, how do I replace and clean it?

You can remove the back panel of the evaporative air cooler, take off the filter cotton board for cleaning. We also provide a cleaning sponge for cleaning the bottom water tank.

Does the ice crystal boxes need to be replaced with water frequently?

Be sure to note that after adding 80% of water for the first time, there is no need to replace the water in the box. Just circulate and refrigerate for continued use.
