Verus 2025 Survey (the “Sweepstakes”) Official Terms and Conditions
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The Verus 2025 Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Verus Insights, Inc. (“Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules (“Rules”). By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
1. ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older, at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and those living in the same household are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
The Sweepstakes begins on January 15, 2025, at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 15, 2025, at 11:59:59 PM ET (the “Promotion Period”). Entries must be received within the Promotion Period.
3. HOW TO ENTER:
During the Promotion Period, eligible individuals can enter by completing and submitting the official “Verus 2025 Survey” in its entirety online at www.verus-survey2025.com.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. Any attempt to obtain additional entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods will void all entries from that participant.
4. PRIZE(S), APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”), AND ODDS OF WINNING:
One (1) Grand Prize: A $2,500 USD prepaid debit card.
ARV of the Prize: $2,500.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All prize-related expenses, including without limitation all federal, state, and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on or about March 31, 2025. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designated agent, whose decisions are final.
The potential winner will be notified via email to the email address associated with the winning entry within five (5) business days of the drawing. The potential winner must respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours of transmission. Failure to respond within this time frame will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
6. VERIFICATION OF WINNER:
The potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release (collectively, “the Releases”) within seven (7) days of prize notification. Failure to return the completed Releases within the specified time may result in prize forfeiture.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
8. PUBLICITY:
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner’s consent for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
9. DISPUTES:
Except where prohibited, participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
10. PRIVACY:
Information submitted by entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at www.verus-insights.com/privacy.
11. WINNER’S LIST:
For the name of the winner, available after April 15, 2025, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Verus 2025 Survey Winner List Request, Verus Insights, Inc., 123 Market Street, Suite 500, Wilmington, DE 19801. Requests must be received by May 15, 2025.
