family fun on the water

[ad_1]

Today’s family is generally cut down to almost “no time”. With parents working long hours, kids and teens’ attention spans are being consumed by social media, television, and even texting entire conversations. Distractions are all around us. Heck, I remember when I was little we actually had to go visit friends on our bikes and then we talked to them using our voices.

Times have changed, but not all for the better. Families need more options for spending time together than just “friending” each other on the Internet and “posting” about the day’s events. It’s hard to really get to know a person without a conversation together.

Luckily there is a great way to solve this issue. Spend time together without electronic distractions, get to know each other, and get your bodies moving for exercise. This is called paddle sports. Commonly known as Kayaking, Canoeing and the increasingly popular Stand Up Paddleboard or SUP.

Around the world we are blessed with many rivers, lakes and other bodies of water out there to be explored. Not to mention the natural beauty Mother Nature is willing to share. The type of scenery is only found through sailing.

Sure, boating is great too, but it has some major disadvantages. This costs money for gas, insurance, docking, etc. It is also very difficult to go to those small lanes of nature. No additional money is required to use a kayak, or canoe. Only a paddle and some human strength.

This outdoor water sport is taking off like a rocket to the moon. Parents, kids, teens all over the world are getting crazy about paddle sports.

Using a light vessel and oar, people can paddle and explore things that cannot be seen without water. It doesn’t require a large vehicle to pull it, it can be done with a small vehicle with the right trailer.

Kayak trailers are specifically built to be lightweight, yet large enough to carry many paddle sport boating vessels, can be purchased to accommodate multiple kayaks and canoes and still be pulled behind a small car . Imagine this, the whole family, a few friends all getting together and spending the whole day on the water, or at the park just getting to know each other and spending time without texting or emailing. All this is possible.

So come on guys Assemble the troops, bring your friends along, get the kids out of the house and enjoy Mother Nature. You’ve got a world to explore, it’s time to go!
