Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34, sparking widespread speculation and grief among fans. Maneshinde also criticized the media’s role during the investigation, noting how the pandemic had amplified public attention on the case. “Due to the pandemic, everyone was glued to the TV and social media in the absence of anything happening in the country,” he added. “I beseech the captains of media to reflect upon what they did.”
